Your Daily Impact:
- Lead and manage our infection prevention and control program, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for all.
- Spearhead the facility’s antibiotic stewardship program.
- Develop and deliver engaging training and orientation programs related to infection control.
- Be the go-to expert, providing guidance and support to staff on best practices for infection prevention.
- Monitor, analyze, and report infection data to maintain compliance and safety.
- Inspire and educate the nursing team through CNA and MA training sessions, helping them excel in their roles.
- Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement throughout the facility.
- Serve as weekend House Supervisor and Nurse Coordinator on-call on a rotating schedule.
What You'll Bring:
- Education & Licensure: Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a current RN license in Nebraska.
- Experience: Minimum two years of clinical experience in a long-term care setting.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Passion: A dedication to infection prevention and a drive to educate and inspire.
