Job Summary
York General is seeking a dedication Sterile Processing Technician (non-certified) to join our surgical team. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, assembling, and distributing surgical instruments and supplies according to hospital policies and infection control standards. This position is ideal for individuals with a keen eye for detail, a commitment to patient safety, and an interest in surgical support services.

Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing surgical instruments, supplies and equipment according to prescribed procedures and techniques
- Assembling packs, sets and trays prior to sterilization
- Maintaining quality control logs and records
- Maintaining inventory of surgical instrumentation.
What You Need
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Sterile Processing Certification is not required upon hire, but must be obtained within one year of hire.
- BLS Certification
- Knowledge of sterilization techniques, surgical instrumentation, and infection control procedures preferred
