Snack Shack Job Description
Start Date: Weekends in May
May 26th Monday-Sunday
Job purpose:
The duties of a golf beverage cart attendant focus on serving drinks at a golf course. You work directly on the course and sell drinks from a golf cart to players. Most cart attendants serve snack food as well. Your responsibilities include taking Member numbers and last names and logging them in after your shift. You need to ensure that the cart is operational, charged or fueled, and stocked with drinks. You are also responsible for making sure the snack shack is filled with soft drinks, snacks, sandwiches and hot dogs.
Duties and responsibilities:
Set up a beverage cart with the appropriate number and type of beverages according to policies advocated by the facility.
Perform checks to see if dates of expiration on non-alcoholic beverages and food are valid.
Maintain knowledge of beverage prices to be able to talk intelligently to customers.
Greet guests and Members in a friendly manner and inquire about their beverage requests.
Process payments.
Restock carts with beverages, ice, sundries, and napkins regularly.
Create and maintain an inventory checklist of things needed to be stocked for the next day.
Perform other duties as requested.
Does include gratuity.
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge and understanding of typical golf course procedures.
Present a positive, professional image.
Must be self-motivated and customer service oriented.
Reliable and predictable attendance.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.75 - $15.00 per hour
