We are looking for a experienced Electrician. The Electrician will be responsible for the maintenance and operations of facility equipment and buildings at all York Hospital locations. A major component of this role is developing and managing energy utilization and opportunities. This position is responsible for coordinating with the Compliance Officer on code and regulation compliance for facility equipment. Responsibilities include: negotiating and evaluating service agreements and contracts with outside vendors for facility maintenance, possess an understanding of the operation and maintenance of HVAC systems, fire protection systems, steam and hot water generation, medical gas and vacuum systems, emergency power supply systems, water and sanitary systems, and building structure systems. Manage elevator system repairs and upgrades, manage facility space and process for space allocation, etc.
Qualified candidates must have 3-5yrs of manufacturing plant or healthcare facilities experience, be a Maine Licensed Electrician, be well versed in Regulatory requirements and energy management, have excellent communication, organizational, customer service and multitasking skills.
