What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiologic Technologist position at York Hospital?

We have a new opening for an X-ray technologist. Experience and/or licensure in CT is preferred but not required. The York Hospital Imaging Team is responsible for providing X-ray services at the main hospital campus as well as our seven walk-in care facilities - York, Wells, Sanford, Kennebunk, Berwick, South Berwick, and Kittery. We provide CT services and the main hospital campus, Wells, and Sanford.
Under the direction of a board certified radiologist, the X-ray technologist will be responsible for safely operating X-ray to produce diagnostic quality images.
Primary responsibilities include:
performing a variety of X-ray exams on patients of all ages
detailed documentation
consenting/screening patients for ionizing radiation and/or CT contrast
excellent communication with patients and co-workers
positive attitude
In order to help us continue to provide exceptional patient experiences, we are looking for a candidate with the following:
1 yrs X-ray experience preferred (CT experience is also preferred but not required)
BLS Certification
Maine RT Licensure
