What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Data and Enterprise Applications position at York Materials Group?
The Manager, Data and Enterprise Applications will be responsible for the planning, design and integration of enterprise data and applications in support of the entire portfolio of businesses under the Stewart Companies umbrella. The person in this role will be accountable for managing all ERP, CRM and related business applications, ensuring data integrity, integrations and application maintenance. This person will also work closely with the IT Operations team to manage application upgrades and system security.
Reporting directly to the VP of IT, this position will help build and own the process of documenting functional application requirements, developing integrations and designing / building decision support systems and reporting dashboards for all Stewart Companies businesses. The incumbent will lead project delivery of data integration processes including the design and development of an operational data layer to aggregate data and modularize integrations with on-prem and cloud applications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Lead and manage the Enterprise Application projects that include both internal and external resources.
- Assess business requirements and make recommendations for new applications, enhancements to existing applications, customizations, and / or integrations that satisfy business requirements.
- Work closely with business leaders to understand their business objectives and processes, providing guidance in leveraging applications to increase mission impact, effectiveness, and efficiency.
- Work with management team to establish suitable business processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities.
- Work closely with the VP of IT and business leaders to define requirements for internally developed decision support systems.
- Design and deliver effective reporting solutions.
- Identify opportunity for efficiencies using automation.
- Manage projects and resources to ensure scope, budget, and timelines are met.
- Maintain and manage technology related projects as part of the IT Project Portfolio.
- Effectively and positively lead direct reports while demonstrating adaptability to changing environments.
- Define and document IT policies and procedures related to business applications with strong focus on compliance and security.
- Develop and communicate training and documentation for end users and provide training as necessary.
