Responsibilities
- Lead, guide, and direct the overall operations, coordination and direction of nursing and patient/resident care for an assigned nursing unit
- Leads by investing and building healthy relationships among staff, colleagues and other disciplines
- Demonstrates critical thinking in the identification of clinical, social, safety issues within the episode of care. Demonstrates initiative and seeks formal and informal opportunities to improve clinical practice
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state
- RN degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- Five (5) or more years of nursing experience required
- Extensive clinical experience in long-term care preferred
- Possess effective team problem-solving and professional communication skills
