Salary : $140,000-$200,000 (level commensurate with experience)

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Systems Engineer to lead Space Vehicle missions while developing a team of more junior systems engineers. The individual needs to be a self-starter able to execute autonomously, willing to stretch outside of current knowledge areas, and open to executing the entire engineering lifecycle. The role requires technical leadership, customer interfacing, problem-solving, and quick decision-making. Salary commensurate with abilities and experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and execute a space systems design / integration program.
- Ensure mission requirements are met and appropriately verified.
- Interface with key mission partners.
- Lead meetings with customer and internal / external partners.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure program success.
- Resolve program blockers and communicate needs to maintain mission execution.
- Technical problem solving.
- Perform management duties including regular one on ones, performance evaluations, coaching / mentorship, hiring, training, etc.
