Successful candidates will be high energy, adaptable, eager to learn, and passionate about space! RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to development of a high-fidelity spacecraft
- Execute a time bound, well-defined project which is of high value to York
- Develop, execute, and manage complex test plans for mission-specific verification.
- Develop and execute both manual and automated tests cases, including documentation and trouble shooting.
- Develop automation for test activities, increasing efficiency of the business.
- Identify testing methods and test fixturing for risk mitigation, prototype development. and requirement verification
- Plan and perform environmental qualification and testing of hardware, including functional testing, vibration testing, thermal cycling, thermal vacuum, and other qualification tests.
- Communicate and collaborate with various areas of the business, such as technicians, product and technical leadership, and program managers.
- Interface with multiple engineering disciplines and project stakeholders
- Contribute to design reviews, process improvement and tool development
- Work closely with systems engineering and program management to define verification strategies and timelines
