We are seeking a highly qualified Facility Security Officer (FSO) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in security, with strong expertise in systems engineering, program management, information technology, and business development. The FSO will be responsible for leading security operations, ensuring compliance with security policies, overseeing physical and information security at our facilities, and collaborating across departments to improve and expand business opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Security Leadership : Lead and manage all aspects of facility security, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and corporate security regulations, including ITAR, NISPOM, and other relevant standards.
- Risk Management : Conduct security risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure the continuous security of the organization's assets, personnel, and sensitive information.
- Systems Engineering : Utilize systems engineering knowledge to implement and manage integrated security technologies, including access control systems, surveillance, and other security infrastructure.
- Information Technology : Partner with the Information Technology team to determine TEMPEST / EMSEC and technological security challenges and opportunities to support the company's programmatic needs.
- Business Development : Collaborate with business development teams to identify new security requirements and provide security insights to support the growth of the company's business.
- Security Training & Compliance : Develop and execute training programs for employees and contractors on security policies and procedures, including classification, handling, and safeguarding of classified materials.
- Internal and External Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams (e.g., HR, Legal, IT) and external agencies (e.g., law enforcement, regulatory bodies) to ensure comprehensive security strategies.
- Documentation & Reporting : Maintain and oversee all security documentation, reports, and audits, and provide detailed security assessments to senior leadership.
- Incident Management : Lead investigations and respond to security incidents, ensuring effective resolution and compliance with all reporting requirements.
