LIEP Teacher/Service Coordinator

TITLE: English as a Second Language (ESL) Specialist & K-12 LIEP Services Coordinator

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Education (must hold a PA Instructional I or II certificate)

REPORTS TO: Director of Curriculum & Instruction, Building Principal

PROGRAM: The Language Instruction Education Progra **Note: Please reference the attached job description to review the essential functions of this position. m (LIEP) is designed for English as a Second Language students who need assistance in acquiring proficiency in the English Language due to their native language being other than English. Students are identified as eligible for the LIEP according to their WIDA ACCESS score and classroom performance. The program aligns academic skill development with PA Standards. Instruction is provided through research-based curricula and programs and is provided at the student’s instructional level. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Annual salary, work schedule and other conditions of employment in accordance with the York Suburban Education Association negotiated agreement.
