Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Site Leadership & Execution
- Supervise field crews and ensure work is completed to high-quality standards.
- Coordinate with trade partners and subcontractors to maintain efficiency and productivity on-site.
- Oversee carpentry and post-tension concrete work, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications.
- Monitor and enforce jobsite safety, conducting daily safety checks and ensuring OSHA compliance.
- Ensure project schedules are met by managing daily and weekly work plans.
- Interpret and enforce construction drawings, specifications, and local building codes.
Project Coordination & Communication
- Work closely with the Superintendent and Project Manager to align field operations with project goals.
- Lead and participate in project meetings with subcontractors, architects, and engineers.
- Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily reports, safety logs, and progress updates.
- Assist in procurement and coordination of materials, tools, and equipment to keep projects moving.
Safety & Compliance
- Conduct and enforce jobsite safety meetings to ensure compliance with OR-OSHA and company policies.
- Monitor subcontractor safety performance and report any concerns to the Superintendent.
- Ensure proper fall protection, PPE use, and general site safety measures are in place.
What You’ll Need:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Foreman on post-tension commercial projects.
- Five (5) or more years of experience working with mid-rise commercial construction projects.
- Strong carpentry skills with experience in structural framing, concrete formwork, and finishing.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
- Proven ability to lead crews effectively, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to schedules.
- Experience working with subcontractors, managing schedules, and maintaining site efficiency.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt and address challenges in the field.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe jobsite.
