Job Description:
We are looking for a talented and motivated Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator that thrives in a fast-paced work environment. The Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator will play a fundamental role in maintaining a knowledgeable and safe work environment. As an Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing HCRBrands' health & safety programs to ensure OSHA, federal, state and local regulations compliance. Additional responsibilities include accident & incident investigation and reporting, disaster planning, internal training & development on safety related topics.

Compensation: Base Salary, Semi-Annual Performance Profit Sharing Bonus and Year End Profit Sharing Bonus.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm, overtime as needed
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as HCRBrands’ Environmental Health & Safety training coordinator, including new hire orientations, tool & equipment training, fire extinguisher, lift equipment and OSHA 10 training.
- Designs, develops and implements safety and health programs and ensures compliance with all regulations including federal, state, local, and OSHA.
- Delivers quality training on a broad range of safety, health and environmental topics such as fall protection, confined space, respiratory protection, hearing conservation, lift equipment and scaffolding.
- Manage all OSHA recordkeeping including annual reporting, auditing & responses.
- Identify safety concerns, assign and track progress of project(s).
- Incident & accident investigation & reporting. File reports to Worker’s Compensation provider and follow cases through to return to work.
- Administers and maintains documentation for all EHS policies, written programs and training programs.
- Analyze, review, implement and ensure compliance of federal, state, local and corporate health and safety guidelines.
- Ensure that EHS documents and records are identifiable, controlled and maintained in an organized, quickly to retrievable manner with timely submission to Sate & Federal agencies as required.
- Supports management’s efforts to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
- Maintain relationships with outside agencies such as OSHA, Labor & Industry and DOT.
- Manage PPE programs.
- Manage third-party industry related safety & document compliance portals.
- Frequent travel (daily and/or overnight) to perform safety & compliance audits at Client facilities.
- Disaster planning & coordination of plans in case of Natural Disaster or Business Impacting incidents.
- Identify hazards and risks associated with projects and work with leadership to control or eliminate the threat of injury.
- Enforce adherence to client safe work practices (SWPs).
- Manage fleet telematics & driver safety programs.
- Attending required client training programs.
- Vetting suppliers & sub-contractors to meet HCRBrands safety standards.
- Responsible for identifying & managing environmental conservation efforts
Desired Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of environmental health and safety experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must possess good organizational skills.
- Experienced in emergency response and able to maintain current First Aid and CPR certifications.
- Measures and evaluates effectiveness of safety programs using established goals.
- Proficient use of the Microsoft Office Suite
- EHS Management of Field Service Employees a plus
- Knowledge of Welding & Electrical fabrication safety practices a plus
Position Requirements:
- Ability to frequently lift 75lbs
- Valid driver’s license with no more than 2 current moving violations
- Ability for frequent travel (daily and/or overnight)
Certifications: (desired)
CPR/First Aid, AED, OSHA, DOT, EHS a plus
Education:
HS Diploma, BA in Health Education or Management a plus

Salary : $50,000 - $65,000
