Yorktown Systems Group, Inc. seeks a qualified Deputy Program Manager to provide professional services and mission support to the U.S. Army Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) located at Fort Polk, Louisiana. Mission Support services for the JRTC entail providing realistic, graduate-level collective training experience at the Brigade Combat Team (BCT) level with the primary objective of training light infantry, airborne, air assault, rangers and other special operations units.
Yorktown Systems Group, Inc. seeks a qualified Deputy Program Manager to provide professional services and mission support to the U.S. Army Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) located at Fort Polk, Louisiana. Mission Support services for the JRTC entail providing realistic, graduate-level collective training experience at the Brigade Combat Team (BCT) level with the primary objective of training light infantry, airborne, air assault, rangers and other special operations units.
The JRTC typically hosts ten standard rotational exercises each Fiscal Year (FY). Typical standard rotational exercises are designed based on a 14 calendar day training period with 18 calendar days of Live Fires typically starting prior to Force on Force (FOF) and running concurrently during the fourteen (14) training days.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Program Manager with providing management and administrative functions in support of the JRTC effort.
- In the absence of the Program Manager, shall conduct overall management coordination and shall be the central point of contact with the Government for performance of all work under the contract.
- In the absence of the Program Manager, shall act in and have full authority to contractually bind and act on the Contractor's behalf with regards to all contract matters relating to the daily operation and overall execution of this contract.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must possess, at a minimum, military experience at the Battalion command level or above (MEL IV Graduate).
- Must possess project/program management experience in either the government or private sector at comparable levels of scope and responsibility as the JRTC MSC.
- An Associate Safety Professional certification is desired.
- Retired U.S. Army Flag Grade Officer or Colonel (O-6).
- Former Infantry Brigade commander with combat command experience.
- MEL qualified.
- Must live in the local JRTC area.
