Job Description
Summary:
Yorktown Systems Group is seeking a CVENT Event Registration Manager to provide support to the NATO Allied Command Transformation (ACT) program. The main objectives of the ACT are to provide appropriate support to NATO missions and operations; lead NATO military transformation; improve relationships, interaction and practical cooperation with partners, nations, and international organizations.
Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:
- The tasking outlined below is applicable to all events requiring registration management through CVENT as directed by the Branch Head, Strategic Issues and Engagement Branch.
- Registration Management using CVENT including:
- Developing registration landing pages;
- Developing and testing the registration process, including multiple registration pathways to accommodate all stakeholders as necessary.
- Coordinating with the ACT office of budget and finance to develop an attendee payment solution in CVENT if conference fees are applicable.
- Developing and managing event agendas in CVENT under the direction of the respective event PROJOs.
- Developing and managing the speaker lists for individual events under the direction of the respective PROJOs.
- Managing media and document libraries in CVENT and SharePoint for all events as directed.
- Developing, managing, and updating content in Attendee Hub under the direction of the respective event OPRs.
- Managing the registration approvals process in coordination with AOS and Protocol as required.
- Providing direct email support to registrants regarding registration and access/use of the CVENT Event Application.
- Registration Management not using CVENT:
- Administrative support in the planning and execution of strategic engagements in support of the attendee experience.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Active NATO or National SECRET (or higher) security clearance.
- Demonstrated competency as a user and administrator of the CVENT platform and all embedded functionalities.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience within the last four (4) years where use of CVENT has been the primary role/duty.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience within the last three (3) in SharePoint administration for a large organization, with proven ability to design, setup, and manage SharePoint portals and workflows while complying with organizational processes, practices, and tools.
- Demonstrated strong organizational, planning, written, and verbal skills. Demonstrated proficiency in English as defined in STANAG 6001 (Standardized Linguistic Profile (SLP) 3333 - Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing) or equivalent.
Desired Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to work in large, heterogeneous organizations and teams, being able to solve problems in a group environment.
- Three years in the last 10 in the field of event management.
Clearance: Requires NATO SECRET security clearance or active SECRET security clearance issued by a national authority
Location: Norfolk, VA
Travel: Travel will be required
The contractor can be required to travel on official business in support of ACT both within and outside NATO’s boundaries for up to 30 days per year or as agreed.
