Job Description

Summary:
Yorktown Systems Group is seeking a qualified SBCT (OT) Training Management and Leader Development Integration Manager to support the U.S. Army Futures Command (AFC), Futures and Concepts Center (FCC), Maneuver Capabilities Development and Integration Directorate (MCDID) with capabilities development support services. MCDID performs key roles in the Joint Capability Integration and Development System (JCIDS) process with a focus on maneuver force transformation. MCDID leads the assessment of maneuver capabilities to identify gaps and develop integrated Doctrine, Organization, Training, materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities, and Policy (DOTMLPF-P) requirements to resolve or mitigate those gaps. They support the JCIDS Capability Based Assessment (CBA) by providing the identification of needs, combining joint concepts with analysis, and are responsible for the management of operational architectures. It leads the determination of maneuver force requirements, recommending priorities, documenting changes, and providing supporting analysis. These requirements result from JCIDS, Urgent Needs Statements, Operational Needs Statements, operational lessons learned, and senior leadership decisions to bring future capabilities into the force. They participate in Integrated Capability Development Teams (ICDT) to develop the necessary products associated with the JCIDS analysis and documentation requirements.

Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for identifying trends and determining change requirements for training and leader development programs of instruction that support PM SBCT related platforms, Soldier skill sets, and SBCT METL proficiency.
  • Review all SBCT doctrine, Armor and Infantry Training Strategies, and course content of SBCT related courses offered at MCoE. This contractor will attend Operations, Training Leadership, and Program of Institution Working Groups and provide observations, insights and lessons learned to the training development community.
  • Participate in MCoE Critical Task Site Selection Boards to review Soldier, Non-Commissioned Officer, and Officer training content in institutional and functional training courses, monitor other AFC, TRADOC, and FORSCOM analytical efforts that relate to Infantry or Armor. The intent is to support ACM SBCT efforts to integrate DOTMLPF-P initiatives within the institutional (TRADOC) and organizational (FORSCOM) process through seminars, working groups, integrated product teams, Council of Colonels, and General Officer Steering Committees.
  • Collect Data based on PM/PdM requests for information that supports Stryker Family of Vehicle requirements analysts, Technical Test and Evaluation SMEs, and in order to provide a holistic review of documentation from a training and leader development perspective.
  • Serve as an alternate to the ACM SBCT FORGE data entry.
Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Must possess a BA/BS or higher degree or a high school diploma and 9 years of experience.
  • A minimum of five years of technical experience in fielding, training, sustainment, maintenance, or employment of Army Mission Command Systems while conducting DA operational training or deployment in a maneuver BCT.
  • Three years of experience serving in a FORSCOM, TRADOC, or AFC organization conducting testing, evaluation, and integration or emerging network and mission command system technologies as a Soldier, DA Civilian or Defense Contractor.
  • Experience in tactical network operations, or as a S6 OIC/ NCOIC in battalion or brigade field tactical command posts is preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance for the duration of the contract.
