What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitor position at Yorkview Nursing and Rehab?
Yorkview Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Janitor for our skilled nursing facility in York, PA.
You will perform a variety of maintenance, light cleaning and organizing duties, along with maintanence of the facility.
Rate: $16/hr
Shift: Full-Time - Monday - Friday and Every Other Weekend
Responsibilities:
- Maintains facility by repairing walls, baseboards, doors, ceilings, mirrors, windows, removing trash, etc.
- Moves furniture in order to complete assignments
- Coordinates daily maintenance services with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living areas
- Performs unscheduled or emergency maintenance tasks as directed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields
- Familiarity with cleaning materials and equipment
- Covid Vaccine required unless an approved exemption is presented upon hiring
