Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time Yorkview Nursing and Rehabilitation | York, PA $5,000 Sign-On Bonus! (Conditions Apply)
Yorkview Nursing and Rehabilitation, a skilled nursing facility in York, PA, is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP / CCC) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. In this role, you will assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans to help residents improve speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive abilities.
Responsibilities :
Evaluate residents for swallowing, speech, language, and cognitive deficits.
Develop and implement treatment plans to improve communication, cognition, and swallowing function.
Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies.
Monitor residents' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation and complete daily billing.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to enhance resident care and outcomes.
Qualifications :
Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license or eligibility for licensure.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology ( CCC-SLP ) preferred.
Experience working with the geriatric population is a plus.
Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
