Yorkville High School is seeking a passionate and innovative full-time Project Lead the Way (PLTW)/Robotics Teacher to support the continued growth of our nationally recognized STEM programming. This position offers the chance to inspire the next generation of engineers and robotics professionals in a program known for excellence, innovation, and student-centered learning. Our PLTW and Robotics programs are supported by state-of-the-art facilities, industry-grade equipment (including FANUC Robotics systems, CNC machinery, advanced 3D printing), and a robust annual operational budget. In addition, staff benefit from routine talent development opportunities, summer training support, and participation in collaborative staff capacity-building initiatives throughout the year.

We seek an educator with vision, energy, and technical expertise to guide students through the full PLTW Engineering pathway. Preferred candidates will have completed, or be willing to complete before the 20252026 school year, the following PLTW training:

- Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM)
- Principles of Engineering (POE)
- Engineering Design and Development (Capstone)
Qualifications / Skills
- Professional Educator License (PEL) endorsed in Industrial Technology, Engineering, CTE, or related field.
- Successful completion of, or commitment to complete, PLTW Core Training in IED, CIM, POE, or EDD by
- Experience or interest in FANUC Robotics Certification pathways and Industry 4.0 concepts
- Strong technical and instructional knowledge in engineering, manufacturing, automation, and computer-integrated systems
- Ability to create a collaborative, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that prepares students for post-secondary and career success
