Job Overview:
Project Managers are important front-line representatives of Yosemite Roofing. The primary role is to uphold the company standards and principles of honesty and integrity on our jobsites (residential and commercial), at the office, and in our community. Project managers play a vital role in ensuring safe practices on the jobsite and overseeing the production and completion of the entire scope of work to the highest level of customer satisfaction.
The project manager provides excellent communication and service to our customers, crews/subcontractors, and the company. This dynamic position in the field is essential to the company's success and requires diligence, effective time management, reporting, and some physical labor.
Role:
- Meets with the Subcontractors to discuss scope of the project and redirects accordingly to meet quality standards
- Provides cost information to the administration team for cost management
- Coordinates with Production team and appropriate team members to ensure commitments to Clients are honored and warranties are sustainable
- Provides thorough documentation and reports for each project
- Performing a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in construction projects;
performing manual work in repair and construction area(s)
- Handling and maintaining inventory of stored materials
- Loading and unloading trucks and hauling and hoisting materials
- Consulting with clients before, during, and after repair and replacement to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support
- Maintaining a clean job site: picking up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards
- Ensuring that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed; bringing problems to the attention to the appropriate personnel
- Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license prior to
employment
- Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to
perform the work
- Willingness and ability to perform manual work following verbal and written instructions
- Some knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies used in
- Some knowledge of first aid and applicable safety precautions
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule
- Ability to lift heavy objects, climb up and down ladders, walk, and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing
- Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely
- Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
