What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Yoshi Tyler INC?
We are a Japanese revolving sushi restaurant, looking for experienced servers with positive, friendly vibes who are good at communicating and know how to take care of the customers. Both full time and part time are welcome to apply, we can talk about your preferred hours and make it work. The starting wage will be $3 per hour plus all your tips, a free meal will be provided
Responsibilities
- Prepare restaurant tables
- Monitor the food on the conveyor belt and remove them if necessary (we serve time sensitive food)
- Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
- Take and serve orders
- Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
- Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen staff
- Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
- Issue bills and accept payment
Skills
- Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience
- Familiar with POS system
- Attention to cleanliness and safety
- Patience and customer-oriented approach
- Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
- Responsible and trustworthy
