Who You Are

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize the supply chain operations within out design, manufacturing, and installation company. The successful candidate will plat a critical role in managing procurement, logistics, inventory, and vendor relations while ensuring seamless coordination across all stages of the supply chain. This role is pivotal in achieving cost efficient, maintaining product quality, and ensuring timely delivery to clients. The role will require an expert knowledge of NetSuite/ERP software.

What You'll Do

  • Strategic Planning and Management
    • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with company goals.
    • Forecast demand and plan inventory to meet production and project timelines.
    • Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain process.
  • Procurement and Vendor Management
    • Source and negotiate contracts with reliable suppliers and vendors.
    • Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure consistent quality and delivery.
    • Develop cost-saving initiatives and manage supplier agreements.
  • Logistics and Operations
    • Coordinate the transportation of materials and products to ensure timely delivery.
    • Optimize routes and methods for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
    • Monitor shipping and receiving processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Inventory Control
    • Implement inventory management systems to track stock levels and minimize waste.
    • Ensure inventory aligns with production and installation schedules.
    • Conduct regular audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with the design, Contract manufacturing, and installation teams to ensure alignment on timelines and requirements.
    • Act as a liaison between internal departments and external partners to facilitate smooth operations.
    • Communicate supply chain updates, challenges, and achievements to stakeholders.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the efficiency of supply chain operations.
    • Prepare and present reports on supply chain metrics, cost analysis, and improvement opportunities.
    • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain processes.

    What You Bring

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Experience:
      • Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the design, manufacturing, or installation industry.
      • Strong background in procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
    • Skills:
      • Proficiency in supply chain software and ERP systems.
      • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
      • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
      • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Certifications: (Optional but preferred) APICS CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent supply chain certifications.

    Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field required.

     

    Certifications & Licenses:

    APICS certification

     

    Physical requirements:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk or hear, and use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders.

    The employee must occasionally lift up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

     

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    • The position is an office-based position with regular visits to the plant floor, vendors, and other partners. The employee occasionally performs work-related travel outside of state.
    • The Employee is required to attend/lead weekly calls with offshore partners outside of normal working hours.
