Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising.
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas to ensure a safe environment for pets.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to management or veterinary staff.
- Assist with dog training sessions as needed, promoting positive behavior and socialization.
- Engage with pet owners, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff.
- Support pet grooming services when required.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during animal handling and care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in animal handling or pet care is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
- Knowledge of dog training techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with kennel operations or veterinary technician experience is advantageous.
- Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and moving animals as needed.

You and Your Dog, LLC in Oconomowoc, WI is looking for reliable and trustworthy kennel staff for 6:30-6pm weekdays and weekends. Schedule to be determined. Will also be in holiday rotation schedule.
