Job Description:
Are you passionate about working with youth/teens and making a positive impact on their lives? Do you want to play a crucial role in helping young people with disabilities gain valuable work experience? You Belong LLC is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Summer Job Coaches for our Summer Youth Work Experience program. Our program runs for 10 weeks, starting June 3rd and ending August 8th. This is an excellent opportunity to earn competitive pay while making a meaningful difference in the lives of teens with disabilities.
Responsibilities:
· Provide on-site supportive services in small groups, including coaching, training, and other assistance, to teens with disabilities in various work environments.
· Offer pre-employment support, job coaching, and guidance tailored to individual needs.
· Build and maintain positive relationships within the community while ensuring services are delivered with integrity and accuracy following regulations and policies.
· Same-day documentation for services provided.
· Provide on-the-job support as necessary to help teens develop independent work skills.
Requirements:
· High School Diploma required; associate degree or relevant experience preferred.
· Reliable vehicle and clean driver’s abstract.
· Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
· Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft software and internet applications.
· Previous experience in teaching, job coaching, or related fields preferred.
· License/Certification: CPR Certification (Preferred).
Compensation & Schedule:
Hourly pay range: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience.
Work hours: Monday to Thursday OR Tuesday to Friday, 9 AM-2:30 PM.
Work Experience Timeframe: June 3rd - August 8th.
Remote training provided.
Work from various community locations.
