We are seeking a Customer Service Assistant to support our service department by managing customer communications, coordinating service appointments, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and excels in customer service.Responsibilities:
- Answer service calls and emails, ensuring timely responses and documenting all customer interactions.
- Maintain accurate customer records, including contact details, service history, and correspondence.
- Schedule and confirm service appointments, tracking any no-call/no-show instances.
- Prepare Repair Orders (ROs) with verified customer concerns and current mileage.
- Greet customers at drop-off, confirm service requests, and notify shop technicians or the Service Manager upon vehicle arrival.
- Provide customers with service updates throughout the repair process.
- Manage goodwill documentation, including obtaining signatures and scanning records.
- Track vehicles in service and coordinate repairs with sublet shops, including processing payments and scanning invoices for accounts payable.
- Organize and file service-related invoices and documents.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in an automotive service department is a plus.
- Proficiency with scheduling software and record-keeping.
16.00 to 18.00 hourly
