Responsibilities
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Daily cleaning tasks and restroom maintenance
- Floor Care: Clean and care for different types of flooring in the building
- Security and Safety: Monitor the building for any security concerns and report any suspicious activities as well as be familiar with emergency procedures and evacuation plans
- Exterior Maintenance: Groundskeeping
- Supply Management: Monitor and manager cleaning supplies and replenish as needed
- Communication: Report any maintenance issues to appropriate personnel and address any other building needs
- Special Events: Assist with events held in the building by providing support including setup and cleanup
- Flexibility: be flexible to handle unexpected situations and adjust schedules/tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred
- but not required.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment (e.g.
- vacuum
- floor buffers
- etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift and move items
- bend
- kneel
- and stand for long periods.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is a plus.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
