Our Young Powersports Team is Growing AGAIN! We have a NEW Units Distribution Center coming to our Centerville XL Campus and we are looking for a Rockstar Inventory Specialist to add to our team! Do you Love working with your hands and being around bikes, ATVs, and UTVs all day? As a Powersports Assembly Technician, you''ll play a vital role in bringing powersports machines to life. You''ll be responsible for assembling new units out of the crate, performing pre-delivery inspections (PDIs), and ensuring everything is ready for the showroom or customer delivery. Responsibilities
- Uncrate and assemble new motorcycles
- ATVs
- UTVs
- snowmobiles
- and personal watercraft according to manufacturer specifications.
- Perform thorough pre-delivery inspections to ensure all components are functioning properly and safely.
- Torque bolts to spec
- install batteries
- fluids
- tires
- and accessories as required.
- Maintain accurate records of completed assemblies and inspections.
- Troubleshoot and correct basic mechanical or cosmetic issues during the assembly process.
- Assist with setup for events
- showroom floor updates
- or customer deliveries.
- Keep work area clean
- organized
- and compliant with safety protocols.
- Communicate with service and sales teams regarding unit readiness
- missing parts
- or special requests.
- Occasionally assist with basic repairs
- accessory installations
- or general service work if needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 years of experience in mechanical assembly
- small engine repair
- or powersports service preferred.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and comfort using hand tools
- torque wrenches
- and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals and assembly instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Valid driver’s license required (motorcycle endorsement a plus).
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced
- team-oriented environment.
