As a Service Advisor at Young Powersports Burley, you will be the main point of contact for customers seeking service and maintenance for their powersport vehicles. You will work closely with our technicians, customers, and management to ensure all service needs are met in a timely and professional manner. Responsibilities
- Schedules service appointments and obtains customer and vehicle data prior to arrival
- Writes up customer’s Powersport problems accurately and clearly on repair orders
- Advises customers on the care of their units and the value of maintaining their units in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications
- Refers to service history
- inspects unit and recommends additional needed service
- Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts
- Checks on progress of repair throughout the day and contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time
- Explains cost and time requirements in detail and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed
- Keeps service department forms - menus and pricing guides up-to-date
- Explains completed work and all charges to customers
- Implements a quality control process to eliminate comebacks
- Handles telephone inquiries regarding appointments and work in process
Qualifications
- Two years related experience and/or training required
- History of solid and successful employment with good references
- Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service
- Prior sales experience helpful
- Clean driving record
- Able to pass background check and drug screen
