Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Family Law Associate at Young Berman Karpf & Karpf PA. The Family Law Associate will be responsible for communication with clients, case management, and working on family law cases. This role is located in Fort Lauderdale, FL with some work from home flexibility.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in Family Law and Family Medicine
- Ability to manage cases effectively
- Knowledge of relevant medical aspects in family law cases
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Family Law, or related field
We are seeking these qualities in our next Family Law Associate:
· Experience: 3 years of family law experience, including trial experience.
· Skills: Strong written, analytical and oral communication skills. A solid foundation in civil law, including knowledge of relevant statutes, regulations and case law. Well-versed in analyzing complex legal issues and assessing strengths and weaknesses of cases. Ability to engage with clients and other parties with emotional intelligence, patience, and empathy.
· Areas of Strength: A strong work ethic, good problem-solving abilities, a commitment to excellence, and an ability to manage multiple clients and case deadlines.
· Work Locations: We are a hybrid office although this role can be made remote for more experienced candidates with travel to the SF Bay area for trials and office-wide events/meetings.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Florida State Bar and in good standing.
About the Position
This is a Full-Time flexible, hybrid position.

Salary : $85,000 - $150,000
