Responsibilities

• Parts Counter Associates will: Assist all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly and professional and efficient manner
• May require selling parts to all internal and external customers over the counter through the shop or on the phone or may entail pulling orders
• Reports to work on-time and as scheduled
• Maintains a good driving record and is considered “insurable” by our auto insurance carrier
• Communicates with internal and external customers in a respectful and courteous manner at all times
• Drives safely and courteously at all times
• Picks up and/or delivers parts to designated accounts
• Operates radio or similar device to communicate with dealership
• Ensures that areas of the parts department are properly stocked and organized
• Ensures the cleanliness of the parts department by disposing of used boxes and trash - sweeping floors and dusting parts bins daily
• Crates all cores for shipment back to the manufacturer when part has been replaced
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated stable work history with good references
• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
• 1 year related experience and/or training
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
• Able to pass background and drug screening
