Public Relations and Social Media Associate

Are you a creative communicator with a passion for public relations and social media? YEAA is seeking a Public Relations & Social Media Associate to join our team full-time!

Location: Fully in-office, with travel required; weekend remote work during critical company schedules

Starting Wage: $18-$22 per hour overtime during specific seasonal months

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Develop, write, and edit a wide range of communications materials, including blog posts, newsletters, social media content, press releases, and website copy.
• Digital and Social Media Management: Manage YEAA’s social media accounts, including content planning, posting, and engagement. Monitor trends and analytics to optimize performance.
• Visual Content Production: Create engaging visual content using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Photography and Videography: Capture high-quality photographs and videos at events, ensuring proper lighting and composition.
• Event Support: Assist in planning and executing events, webinars, and other promotional activities, including coordinating logistics and developing promotional materials.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in PR, social media management, or a related role.
• Proficiency in social media management tools and platforms.
• Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Willingness to travel as needed and work remotely during critical company schedules.
