Overview:
Young Explorers Club, in partnership with Issaquah Parks & Community Services, is offering a before- and after-school program at the Issaquah Community Center. Our program provides engaging art classes, including workshops in visual arts, music, and dance. We are currently seeking teaching artists to lead these sessions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging art lessons, teaching students various techniques, styles, and mediums.
- Foster creativity and self-expression through hands-on art projects.
- Plan and supervise an end-of-year art performance or exhibit to showcase students’ work.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Art Education or a related field preferred.
- Experience teaching art at the elementary or secondary level preferred.
- Passion for nurturing and teaching young children.
