Description
The CADC works under the direct supervision of the Clinical Supervisor. The CADC is responsible for providing treatment services to clients and documenting their progress in the program. The CADC ensures that a safe and secure environment is provided to clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. These items will be the accountabilities for performance appraisals.
1. Carry a client caseload as required and prepare for and conduct individual and group
services to assigned clients.
2. Complete all paperwork responsibilities accurately and timely, and in accordance
with licensure and agency standards. Enter required information into the Young
House EHR and State database system.
3. Develop individual treatment plans with clients, parents, and referring workers.
4. Facilitate and co-facilitate client groups (skill development, treatment, parental
support, and family).
5. Conduct individual and family sessions.
6. Establish and maintain case consultation with family, referral worker, community
resources, and support system of client and family. This collaborative process of
assessment, planning, facilitation, care coordination and advocacy of options and
services assists with meeting the individual and their family’s needs through a
comprehensive health plan and also promotes quality outcomes.
7. Establish and maintain professional boundaries with clients.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology or a related behavioral science and CADC certification, OR
- AA in related field 2 years’ related experience and CADC certification, OR;
- High school diploma 4 years’ related experience and CADC certification.
- Must provide documentation of education & CADC. College degrees must be documented with original transcripts sent to Human Resources Director.
- CADC must renew certification every two years and provide proof of obtaining 40 hours of continuing education.
Additionally:
· Must have a valid driver’s license to transport or drive for agency purposes.
· Must qualify for agency insurance coverage to transport clients.
· Must provide evidence of personal car insurance at time of hire and as renewed.
· Must have ability to effectively deal with emergency situations.
· Must be able to use agency computer system and software necessary to carry out job functions.
