Day Camp Lifeguards

Sprout Westchester is looking for responsible and enthusiastic Lifeguards to join our summer team! If you love swimming, working with children, and want to be part of a fun and supportive camp community, this is the perfect summer job for you!

What You’ll Do:

• Supervise and ensure the safety of campers during swim periods
• Maintain a watchful eye on all swimmers, enforcing pool safety rules
• Assist with swim instruction and encourage campers to build confidence in the water
• Respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations
• Assist with daily pool checks and basic pool maintenance to ensure a clean and safe swimming environment
• Work closely with the Aquatics Director to create an incredible and safe space for all campers
• Be a positive role model while creating a fun and supportive aquatic environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Must be 16 years or older
• Lifeguard certification is a plus, but we can assist with obtaining up-to-date
• American Red Cross Lifeguard & CPR certification
• Strong swimming skills and comfort in deep and shallow water
• Responsible, attentive, and a team player
• Enthusiastic about working with children in a camp setting
