Job Title: Director of Nonprofit Foundation

Job Summary:  
The Director of the Nonprofit Foundation will lead and manage all aspects of the organization, providing strategic direction and oversight to ensure the foundation effectively fulfills its mission. This position involves leading fundraising efforts, managing programs, overseeing operations, and building relationships with stakeholders, community partners, and donors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:
  - Develop and implement the foundation's strategic plan, aligning it with the mission and vision of the organization.
  - Set and communicate the foundation’s goals, objectives, and priorities to the board and staff.
  - Act as the primary spokesperson for the foundation, representing its interests and values to external stakeholders and the community.

2. Fundraising and Development:
  - Design and lead comprehensive fundraising strategies to sustain and grow the foundation’s programs and initiatives.
  - Identify, cultivate, and solicit new and existing donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations.
  - Oversee grant writing, reporting, and compliance to ensure alignment with donor expectations and requirements.

3. Program Management:
  - Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and services that align with the foundation’s mission.
  - Ensure program effectiveness and efficiency through regular monitoring and evaluation, adjusting programs as needed based on feedback and outcomes.
  - Collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure high-quality program delivery and community engagement.

4. Financial Oversight:
  - Manage the foundation’s budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and compliance with financial policies.
  - Provide oversight of financial reporting, accounting practices, and audits to maintain transparency and accountability.
  - Work closely with the finance team to develop fiscal policies, evaluate financial performance, and ensure sustainability.

5. Board Relations:
  - Support and collaborate with the Board of Directors, providing regular updates on the foundation’s activities, financial status, and strategic initiatives.
  - Participate in board meetings, committees, and retreats to facilitate effective governance and decision-making.

6. Staff Management:
  - Lead, mentor, and develop staff, fostering a positive organizational culture and encouraging professional growth.
  - Ensure effective performance management processes are in place to enhance team performance and accountability.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, public administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a nonprofit organization, with a track record of successful fundraising and program management.
- Strong understanding of nonprofit operations, governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for the nonprofit sector and a commitment to the mission of the foundation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
