With a strong presence in e-commerce through platforms like Amazon, Wayfair, Walmart, and Faire, we have built a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship, elegant design, and outstanding customer satisfaction.
As we continue to grow, we are expanding our focus on direct, in-person sales to local businesses. We are looking for a dynamic Outside Sales Representative to drive wholesale sales of our premium glassware to restaurants, retailers, event planners, gift stores, and other businesses in the region.
Objective
The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and closing sales of wholesale glassware to local businesses. This role requires a proactive, results-driven professional who thrives in face-to-face sales and is passionate about providing high-quality products to clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and cold outreach.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their product needs and recommend suitable Lemonsoda glassware solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and educate customers on the features and benefits of our products.
- Negotiate pricing and close sales, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term business relationships.
- Maintain ongoing communication with existing and previous customers, informing them about new products and promotions.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to provide insights and recommendations to the company.
- Track and report sales performance, including calls, meetings, orders, and revenue.
- Provide periodic sales forecasts and contribute to overall sales strategy.
- Ensure a high level of customer service and promptly address any post-sale concerns.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Proven sales and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for managing multiple clients and accounts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in the field.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and CRM tools.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Prior experience selling wholesale glassware, home goods, hospitality, gift stores or related products.
- Experience working with restaurants, event planners, retailers, or hospitality businesses.
- Strong knowledge of B2B sales processes and territory management.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- At least three years of experience in B2B sales, outside sales, or wholesale sales (required).
WORK LOCATION & COMPENSATION
- This is a field-based role, requiring travel within the designated sales territory.
- Compensation: $70,000 annual base salary plus commission on net sales.
- A car allowance may be provided based on business needs.
