Summary
Young Living is looking for a high-energy, self-motivated, results-driven Ranch Hand/CDL Driver. This position plays a role in the day to day operations of Skyrider Ranch. This individual has comprehensive experience in farming, ranching, and use of heavy equipment and has an active Commercial Driver's License(CDL); thrives in team settings; demonstrates the ability to see projects needing attention acts on them.
Essential Functions

- Assist in the cultivation and harvest of various crops
- Move irrigation hand and wheel lines
- Assist with the feeding and moving of elk and bison
- Utilize heavy equipment including tractors, skid steers, bull dozers and 4x4 vehicles
- Assist in the maintenance and beautification of Skyrider Ranch
- Keep equipment and vehicles clean, well maintained
- Communicate frequently with fields operations supervisor

Work Environment
This job operates in a rural ranching environment. The role routinely uses heavy equipment such as tractors, bull dozers, skid steers and 4x4 vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Essential oils are worn and/or diffused in the work environment.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to use manual dexterity to handle, feel, and operate objects, tools, and controls and reach with hands and arms. This individual is frequently required to stand, talk, and hear. Specific vision abilities of this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to lift supplies up to 60 pounds. The employee must be physically able to tolerate the scent of essential oils worn or diffused.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position requires the incumbent to be physically present at the assigned worksite. The regular schedule is from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., with an hour lunch, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend will be required as job duties demand.
Required Education and Experience
5 years of related experience and/or training
Preferred Education and Experience
Multi-craft skills acquired through extensive on-the-job training, apprenticeship programs, in-depth industry and job -specific technical skills acquired through a combination of formal instruction and on-the-job training, or experience to carry out limited projects involving the use of specialized, complicated techniques and 7 years of similar or related experience.
