Summary
Young Living is looking for a high-energy and hard-working field technician to join our team on the Mona Farm. Under the supervision of the herbs team lead, the field technician will assist with all aspects of cultivating crops for essential oils, primarily planting, cultivating, and harvesting.

- Assist with carrying out crop plans designed by the team lead
- Perform activities assigned by herbs team lead in accordance with a level of proficiency as directed
- Demonstrate and explain farm work techniques and safety regulations to co-workers and report unsafe conditions
- Assist with farm events as necessary
- Maintain work area clean and tour ready appearance
- Proficiency working with hand tools, such as hoes, pitchforks, shovels, weeding tools, brooms, and hoses

Work Environment
This job operates in an office setting and an outside Farm environment. The work also involves moderate risk or discomfort requiring special safety precautions. The role involves working around moving parts and machines. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be intense at times. Work will be performed outdoors, and the incumbent will be required to work in all types of weather conditions. The role requires the use of personal protective equipment, OSHA safety gear, and appropriate clothing. Essential oils are worn and/or diffused in the work environment.

The work may require specific, but common, physical characteristics and abilities. This individual is frequently required to stand, talk, and hear. Safety Requirements
Employee is required to understand proper safety procedures before operating any equipment. Employee may be required to be certified to use equipment. Employee may be required to wear appropriate OSHA safety gear.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position requires shift work. The regular schedule is from 7 a.m.–4 p.m., with a one-hour lunch. During spring and summer this position may be required to work longer than regular schedule. Regular schedule may change occasionally to accommodate weather, and operational deadlines/goals. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Required Education and Experience
A high school diploma or equivalent. One to three years of agricultural experience or similar or related experience.
