Summary
Under the supervision of the Procurement and Sourcing Manager, the Supply Planner will assist in all supply planning
duties for their assigned items including analyzing planned order messages, planning and creating Work Orders,
understanding production schedules, component availability and capacity planning, and communicating priorities to
internal Manufacturing personnel.
To succeed in this role, you should be highly analytical, understand MRP planning, have experience with production
planning, and be able to communicate professionally and effectively.
Essential Functions

1. Monitor Supply and Demand for assigned items, recognize misalignments within the plan, analyze and revise
as required based on production capacity and component availability
2. Analyze data to determine opportunities for reduction of inventory/excess
3. Provide supply updates on low stock and out of stock items to sales markets
4. Manage open Work Orders. Cancel, combine, or adjust dates and quantities as needed to ensure proper
supply
5. Attend all required Department and Market meetings
6. Manage multiples tasks and establish effective work priorities
7. Collaborate with Demand Planners, Buyers, Project Managers, Product Managers, and Markets to ensure
supply flows smoothly
8. Report on low stock and out of stock reasons and updates on most common driving factors
9. Maintain supply update notes on 100% of out of stock items and at least 90% on low stock items
10. Be available to back up the Procurement Manager and able to provide trainings for other Supply Planners and cross-functional teams.
Required Education and Experience
1.Four year degree with related field 2. Minimum 3 years of experience or equivalent 3. Understanding of MRP/ERP 4. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PDF, Powerpoint, Outlook 5. Experience communicating with various levels within an organization
Preferred Education and Experience
1. Four year degree with related field 2. 5years of Supply Chain experience 3. Manufacturing or production planning/scheduling experience 4. APICS certified 5. S&OP experience 6. Advanced Excel experience

This position has no direct supervisory responsibility.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as a laptop, desktop, smartphone, photocopiers, shredders, and filing cabinets. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Essential oils are worn and/or diffused in the work environment.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to use manual dexterity to handle, feel, and operate objects, tools and controls, and reach with hands and arms. This individual is frequently required to stand, talk, and hear. Specific vision abilities by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to type, file and lift office supplies up to 20 pounds. The employee must be physically able to tolerate the scent of essential oils worn or diffused.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position requires the incumbent to be physically present at the assigned worksite. The regular schedule is from 8 am to 5 pm, with an hour lunch, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
