POSITION OVERVIEW: This position is responsible for assisting with planning, managing and directing swim teams and for ensuring the safety of participants.
JOB LOCATION: Waukee YMCA
HOURS/DAYS SCHEDULE: Evenings and Weekends
HOURLY PAY RATE: $12.00-$14.00/hour, based on experience and credentials
CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS: February 2, 2025 - Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist in the planning and direction of team practices.
- Attend team practices, team meets, and regular coaches meetings.
- Assist in development of team events and lesson plans.
- Assist in coordinating team entry information.
- Report specific problems or needs to supervisor or designated staff person.
- Know emergency procedures and be able to demonstrate them.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or designated staff person.
- Demonstrate and support the objectives of the Association as embodied in the mission statement and values.
Salary : $12 - $14
