POSITION OVERVIEW: This position is responsible for leading and instructing youth in various sports for the summer.
JOB LOCATION: Walnut Creek YMCA and Waukee YMCA
SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays - 2:00p-5:30p for After School Sports Programs at Elementary Schools
Saturdays - 9:00a-3:00p for Youth Soccer - times may vary
PAY RANGE: $10.25-$13.00/hour depending on qualifications
CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS: February 18, 2025 - Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Demonstrate, teach, and lead activities.
- Conduct the program in a fun, upbeat atmosphere.
- Ability to follow and implement curriculum provided by others.
- Address participants' concerns and notify the supervisor.
- Know emergency procedures and be able to demonstrate them.
- Report specific problems or needs to the supervisor or designated staff person.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or designated staff person.
- Exercise sound judgment in situations not covered by policies, procedures, and practices.

- Demonstrate and support the objectives of the Association as embodied in the mission statement and values.
Salary : $10 - $13
