Title: Front Desk & Clubhouse Attendant-Employees
Supervisor (s): Facility Manager (other Full-time Employees, as needed)
Overview of Urban Racquet Sports Foundation
The Foundation is a charitable nonprofit organization that has reached 1,000s of youth residing in at-risk and under-served environments since 2006. Through nationally recognized instructional methods, and Safe Sport SafePlay certification, our mission is to use tennis and pickleball in structured after school and summer camp programs as a tool to reach and mentor youth with character quality teaching; promote reading, nutrition, and a healthy life-long sport; provide team competition opportunities and high school/collegiate potential, with love and encouragement for future aspirations. Additionally, the Foundation provides recreational and teaching opportunities for the adult community, including leagues, tournaments, and special events. These services are provided in various community and school locations, including operating and maintaining the Garber Courts facility under a lease agreement with the City of Saginaw.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Excellent customer service to the general public; greeting people, answering the phone, facility care, and support.
- Inform guests about, and provide accurate information regarding, facility services, programs, schedules, costs, membership, tournaments, and all other current events happening at Garber Courts.
- Be comfortable with computers. Registration software (Tennis Director).
- Process reservations and memberships.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including overseeing and monitoring all clubhouse rooms.
- Understand and communicate policies, procedures, and accepted standards of facility operation.
- Establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with facility staff, groups, and individuals.
- At appropriate times, with either the front door locked or other personnel present, walk the courts, noting cleanup needs, etc.
- Assist with setup and tear down for facility programs and events
- Staff is representing the Foundation on and off the job
- Staff are asked not to wear clothing in any non-tasteful manner

- Ability to work independently
- Capability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds alone
- Ability to perform a variety of cleaning/maintenance duties throughout each shift
- Ability to work varied hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, subject to personal capability scheduling with supervisor
Compensation:
- Part Time-Hourly, Range $11.50 - $15 per hour, Seasonal Non-Exempt
Salary : $12 - $15
