The Heart of the Valley YMCA is hiring an Aquatics Program Coordinator for our Kimberly, WI branch. Our Aquatics Coordinators provide safe and enjoyable water-based programs for participants of all ages, including swim lessons. Working closely with the Aquatics Director, our next Coordinator also takes care of hiring, training and mentoring our lifeguards and swim instructors. The coordinator provides the energetic know-how in creating a safe space in and around the water. Share your passion for aquatics, and most importantly fun, to create a successful aquatics program for our growing branch and community.
This is a full-time career that will keep you moving with a flexible schedule.
- Currently certified in CPR & First Aid for the Professional Rescuer.
- Lifeguard Instructor Trainer certification and CPR for the Professional Rescuer Instructor is preferred, but not required.
- Certified as a YMCA Progressive and/or Preschool Instructor, and/or WSI preferred, but not required.
- Minimum experience of 3-years teaching aquatic programs for all ages and levels.
- Experience in staff and/or pool management preferred, but not required.
