Multiple positions available across the Fox Cities!
Before/After School Y-Care Teachers work with children ages 5-12 and oversee the before and after school care program at the designated elementary school. Supervise and interact with children in a group setting, providing various activity stations, guiding positive behaviors, and ensuring a caring and safe environment. Maintain positive relationships with parents, children, and fellow staff. Instill Y Core Values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.
Typical Hours: 2-5 days/week: Before School Hours 6:00 AM-9:00 AM; After School Hours 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Experience working with children ages 5-12 preferred. Some programs are licensed child care, and follow the early childhood teacher qualifications, see below for the levels of qualifications for staff.
Assistant qualified (entry-level) and Lead Qualified (education/experience required) openings are available across the Fox Cities.
Assistant Qualified Staff Require: A minimum of Introduction to Child Care Professions, and Skills and Strategies for the Child Care Teacher, 6 credits in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent. Applicants who do not obtain these courses are encouraged to apply, the Y does provide coursework to complete these requirements.
Lead Qualified Staff Require: A minimum of Introduction to Child Care Professions, and Skills and Strategies for the Child Care Teacher, 6 credits in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent. Or Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.
Applicants who are interested in becoming Assistant or Lead qualified are encourage to apply to learn more. We also encourage high school students who plan to pursue Early Childhood, Education, or any related field to apply to gain experience working with children in the Y-Care programs.
