The YMCA of the Fox Cities is hiring Dance Instructors for our Studio Y program. As a dance instructor, you’ll teach age-appropriate techniques and have the flexibility to design your own choreography & routines. Introduce your students to the beauty of ballet, pointe, lyrical, contemporary, tap, jazz, hip-hop and so much more. Share your love of dance with people of all ages and abilities, including adult and advanced, in an inclusive and supportive environment.
This is a part-time position with classes offered during the day, evenings and Saturday mornings.
Studio Y’s Dance Classes are held at the Appleton, Neenah-Menasha, Ogden and Heart of the Valley YMCAs. Our program encourages the technical progression of dancers and provides consistent & knowledgeable instruction at each level of development. - Applicants need to be 16 years of age or older.
- Previous dance experience of at least 5 years or more is required.
- Previous experience in teaching dance, including choreography and technique is preferred but not required.
- Ability to communicate and work with children and parents.
