The Fox West YMCA is hiring Group Fitness Instructors to lead fitness classes at various off-site locations around the Greenville & Hortonville area. You provide the energetic know-how and the enthusiasm; we’ll provide the equipment and resources you need to succeed. Now hiring instructors include yoga, mat Pilates, cardio &/or bootcamp style classes and those able to teach fitness classes to older adults. We encourage those with a passion for fitness to apply, no matter what your prior experience. We can provide all the necessary trainings. Lift, kick, pedal, stretch or grapevine your way into the hearts of our members!
This is a part-time position with an off-site premium hourly wage. Additional hours are also available at our branches. We encourage those with a passion for fitness to apply, no matter what your prior experience. We can provide all the necessary trainings.
- Intermediate knowledge of anatomy, body mechanics, and exercise physiology.
- Certification in Group Fitness &/or Strength & Conditioning or be willing to obtain through Y USA or another nationally-recognized program.
- Certification in CPR, First-Aid & AED or be willing to obtain through the YMCA once hired.
- Prior experience in teaching fitness classes or have completed the Y’s Group Fitness Instructor Training Program or be willing to obtain through the YMCA once hired.
