The Appleton YMCA is hiring School Age Program Coordinators for the Y's Extended Day Learning Program for the 2025-2026 school year. Coordinators are responsible for the excitement & energy at our school age program sites. Develop and implement relevant and age specific programs. Coordinators work closely with their peers to tackle the administration & daily operations of educational programming, as well as working closely with the school to ensure positive continual learning opportunities. Utilize your training & education to keep learning fun and ongoing for the children in our care.
This is a full-time exempt career role within our School Age Child Care department.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in an Education-related field is required.
- Lead-qualified teacher and possess a Wisconsin State Registry Level 12 or higher.
- Previous work experience in supervising staff is preferred.
- Prior experience working with school age children.
- Must have the ability to build & maintain excellent relationships with children, staff, parents & community leaders.
- Position requires excellent written and verbal communications skills.
