The Appleton YMCA Sports & Rec Department is hiring seasonal Sports Camp staff. Share your passion of sports and recreation with children ages 5-12. Sports Camps at the Y include a variety of activities, along with field trips, and much more throughout the summer! As a Sports Camp staff person, you'll be responsible for helping with the day-to-day operation of Sports Camp activities, assist with lesson planning, the health & welfare of campers and providing leadership in both large & small group activities. When the kids are having fun, so will you!
This is a part-time position with a very flexible schedule. Sports camps provide programming Monday thru Friday, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM, including child care before & after camp. Additional hours are available on Monday & Tuesday evenings for youth summer soccer leagues.
- Basic knowledge & love of sports
- Experience working with children is preferred.
- Desire to work with individuals with a variety of abilities.
- Great interpersonal and decision-making skills.
