The Heart of the Valley YMCA is hiring Swim Instructors at our Kimberly pool. Swim teachers use an established curriculum to teach swim techniques, strokes, and water safety to participants of a variety of ages - infant through adult. Swimming lessons are held weekly and correspond with the Y's program sessions.
This is a part-time position with hours between 5-25 hours a week. Premium pay is also available for those that work over 25 hours a week.
- 16 years of age or older.
- Previous teaching, swim experience or WSI training preferred, but not required.
- Lifeguard/CPR Pro and First Aid certification preferred, but not required.
- Previous swimming experience necessary.
