POSITION SUMMARY:
The YMCA is seeking excited team members to join our Before School Program. This is a rewarding opportunity to help children in your area learn and grow through play as well as build a rewarding career working with children!
The YMCA before school programs offer a positive environment where kids in elementary school in Lawrence Public Schools can have fun while they learn and grow through play and we expect you to play and laugh along with them!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
We are looking for outstanding role models to come and help us create a great place for K – 5th graders to grow and learn.
This part-time opportunity requires you to be available at least two days before school from Monday - Friday from 7:00 am – 8:30 am, (you will be paid for 2 hours!) .
This position is a September through June position which could turn into a camp position for the summer. In exchange for your time and willingness to have fun, we pay between $15.50 and $21 per hour, depending on your experience, and offer a number of great incentives including:

Requirements
1. At least 18 years of age.
2. Previous experience with school age children preferred.
3. Interest in children and significant evidence of emotional maturity, good moral character, judgment, integrity and leadership capability.
4. Ability to adapt to changing needs and circumstances.
5. Ability to communicate with children and deal effectively with inappropriate behavior.
Salary : $16 - $21
